CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL
CITC NINE STAR
GED GRADUATES
CITC’s GED Program is a part of the Employment and Training Services Career Center and is affiliated with Nine Star. The CITC Nine Star GED Program is designed to work with Alaska Native and American Indian students 16 and up without a high school diploma.
The program assists students to earn their GED. It is a work at your own pace development. The preparation involves a tailored education based on scored tests. By completing a 4 Step multi-examination process, a student can leave the program with a GED diploma. By doing so, students raise their academic skills and self awareness.
Earning the GED credential allows a student to find better job opportunities, increase their earning potentials, and to plan to attend university studies or vocational training. Once the first graduation is achieved, students look forward to a post-secondary graduation and beyond.
We at CITC Nine Star believe that increasing the exposure by highlighting the student’s achievements helps our graduates develop career initiatives.
Thank you and the future is yours to shape,
Theresa Szafran, GED Instructor
