SERVICES
Alaska's People is staffed by Employment Specialists who provide employment and training referral services to our participants. Participants are encouraged to maintain contact with their Employment Specialist if they would like to be referred for job opportunities within their field of experience, education, or training. Your Employment Specialist can also provide you with information related to post-secondary education or technical training opportunities.

RÉSUMÉ SERVICES
A requirement of Alaska's People is to have an updated résumé. We have a number of computers available for use in the Career Center.  If you would like assistance creating your résumé there are many options available. There are two Resume Writing Workshops a month in the Career Center as well as our Employment Specialists and staff available to assist you.

If you are not yet a participant of Alaska's People and you are seeking employment, please contact our office at (907) 793-3371 or via fax at (907) 793-3392. You can also visit our office at 3600 San Jeronimo Drive, Anchorage, AK.  We are located in east Anchorage near the corner of Debarr and Bragaw. You may also submit an e-mail request for an Intake Application Form to mhiratsuka@citci.com.  

ESTABLISHED PARTICIPANT
If you are an established participant of Alaska's People, we encourage you to maintain contact with your Employment Specialists to keep them informed of your progress in obtaining employment.
If you are a participant and you have become employed, please call or e-mail your Employment Specialist to let them know.

CONTINUING YOUR SEARCH FOR EMPLOYMENT 
Our experienced staff work in partnership with you in finding employment. We encourage you to maintain contact with your Employment Specialist and stay abreast of the most current employment opportunities.  Looking through the "want ads" in your local newspaper and registering with the Alaska Job Service office or with temporary agencies are also encouraged.
