Family Assessment

Case Managers conduct home visit interviews and assessments with families who have “low-level risk” reports of harm with the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services (OCS).  The program goal is to provide preventative in-home services and to keep families from becoming more involved with OCS.  This voluntary program offers a range of services including short-term case management, client advocacy and community referrals.  Our staff provides alternative and culturally appropriate responses to traditional child protection investigation for child safety concerns.
