Indian Child Welfare Act Help Desk Liaison

The ICWA Help Desk is located at the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services (OCS) to support compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act.  Services include conducting tribal and relative searches for Alaska Native and American Indian children that are in out-of-home placement.  Additional services include participation in case staffing and encouraging the timely tribal notification of Native children in state custody.
