Welcome to the 2012 Anchorage Preliminaries and Senior Native Youth Olympics Team Information page. Below you will find everything you need to prepare for this year’s NYO Games Alaska. Junior NYO Games

The Junior NYO Games will be held February 17 – 19 at Begich Middle School (7440 Creekside Center Drive). We have limited the number of athletes to three boys and three girls per event, per school. There will also be a fee of $5.00 per athlete. The JNYO games are meant for students in grades 1–6.

There are electronic team registration and waiver forms which must be completed by February 10, 2012. Each athlete listed on the team registration form must have an accompanying individual registration/wavier form in order to compete. When filling out the team registration form electronically, please complete all required information, save the file, and email as an attachment to Adele Ridley at aridley@citci.org. Individual registration and waiver forms may be faxed to (907) 793-3290 or turned in on the day of tryouts.

Anchorage Team Tryouts

The Anchorage Team Tryouts will be held March 31 and April 1 at Begich Middle School (7440 Creekside Center Drive). There is no limit or fee for the number of athletes schools can send to the tryouts. The first and second place overall athletes will form two teams to compete at the Senior NYO Games.

There are electronic team registration and waiver forms which must be completed by March 23, 2012. Each athlete listed on the team registration form must have an accompanying individual registration/wavier form in order to compete. If you are filling out the team registration form electronically, please complete all required information, save the file, and email as an attachment to Adele Ridley at aridley@citci.org. Individual registration and waiver forms may be faxed to (907) 793-3290 or turned in on the day of tryouts.

Senior NYO Games

The Senior NYO Games will be held April 27–29 at the
Anchorage Dena’ina Center (555 West 5th Avenue). To be eligible for early bird
registration, team and individual registration and waiver forms must be
completed by April 20, 2012. We have limited the number of participants to
one boy and one girl per event, per school. If your team is not sponsored by a
school or district, each member must provide proof that they are enrolled in an
accredited 7–12 grade school or GED program.

There are electronic team registration and waiver forms online which must be completed and received with payment by April 20, 2012 to be eligible for early bird fees. Each athlete listed on the team registration form must have an accompanying individual registration/wavier form in order to compete. If you are filling out the team registration form electronically, please complete all required information, save the file, and email as an attachment to Adele Ridley at aridley@citci.org. Individual registration and waiver forms may be faxed to (907) 793-3290. Please note, to be eligible for
the early bird registration fee, all forms must be submitted before April 20.

Payment Information

Teams may pay their registration fee via check payable to Cook Inlet Tribal Council. You may also pay via credit card by visiting our new pay online option  or by calling Adele Ridley at (907) 793-3289. Please note there is no registration fee for Anchorage Preliminaries.
