The Tribal Training Grant (TT) fund is for Alaska Native and American Indian students residing within the Cook Inlet Region service area at least 30 days prior to training. This grant is for short-term certificate or vocational training for job enhancement and/or to secure employment.
The Tribal Training Grant is needs-based and awarded on a first-come, first-completed basis as funding is available, and is not intended to cover the full cost of training. Due to limited funding, no more than two (2) awards will be given per person in a lifetime. Funding will not to exceed $500 and is based on availability. Students are required to submit a CDIB/CIB from BIA and proof of Tribal Enrollment.
