CITC provides educational services to our Alaska Native and American Indian community:

The Tribal Training Grant (TT) helps eligible Alaska Natives and American Indians in the Cook Inlet Region area obtain short-term certification or vocational training for job enhancement and/or employability.

The Tribal Higher Education Scholarship (THE) helps eligible Native CIRI shareholders, descendants and CIRI original enrollees pursuing accredited post-secondary education.

The Mellen Shea Memorial Scholarship (MSM) fund was developed to provide financial assistance to Alaska Native and American Indian students who are pursuing a post-secondary degree in Education, aspiring to be teachers.

The Alyeska Match Scholarship (AM) offers matching financial assistance to Alaska Natives who are interested in seeking college or vocational training that will enable them to work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS).

Native CIRI shareholders, original enrollees and descendants enrolled in the eligible fields for the Alyeska Match Scholarship (AM) may apply for both the AM and the Tribal Higher Education Scholarship (THE) on the combined form.
